Fuji has discontinued many emulsions in the last decade.
They no longer offer any conventional black and white films.

How many years has it been since Fuji introduced a new film?
To me it appears they are gradually leaving the film business.

I am not optimistic about Ferrania.
I hope the new Ektachrome is a winner.

Chris
Was their last new film the new version of Velvia?

I didn't get to test it thoroughly but I found E100G had good latitude and color characteristics though not be as high resolving as Fuji Velvia or Kodak E100VS. I liked it better than Fuji Astia.

E100G was the "neutral" film, there was E100GX which had a warmer colour tone. Both films maintained good colours even when cross processed.

There was also an E200 version, which I never tried.

Hopefully the new version of Ektachrome Kodak releases is as good as E100G. (Probably would be the same as was produced 5 years ago???)

Phil.
