Love my old LX as well.

See my first post on this forum about all my (sold) "A" series glass and the LX here:

Wow, you had basically my dream lot for a manual focus Pentax system. I do have the "M" version of a few of those lenses though...

Nothing but love for mine

I've got two, both purchased new right around the time they started to disappear from the shelf stock of the big NYC camera stores. Equipped mine with Winder LX's and FA-1W Finders, though I've also got the FB-1 System Bases and all three eyepieces that I also play with from time to time I put Beattie Intenscreens in mine (grounglass only, no microprism or split image, just a circle mark in the center).

How do you like yours? Winder? Motor Drive (and Motor Drive power option)? Body only? Preferred finder/focusing screens? Interesting to know what variations people use with theirs.

Those are some great photos from your site.

There was also a Canon site that reported the A*85/1.4, sharper than the Canon 85/1.2 L. So you're not the only one holding that lens high.

I've seen an LX used in a shop, but I think it is a little too big. I think I'll go for ME Super or SuperA. Digital photography has really got me interested in more aspects of photo shooting, and the manual cameras and lenses.
