I get all my film and C-41 chemistry from here. They sell in a bunch of formats, and they're a all real nice people with an entertaining podcast. They've promoted the K1000 quite a bit there, btw.

I'd like to get some bulk (100') color neg film and start rolling my own again eventually, but the only ones they have that I'm interested in are the Kodak Vision3 cinematic films (250D and 500T) that they roll themselves.

Oops. Mistake in my post: I completely forgot that JCH Streetpan 400 is available in 120 format now.

That is so interesting. Growing up behind the iron curtain ORWO was the only slide film I remember my dad shooting. Only non-Soviet film for that matter.

Incidentally, going through my grandfather's film archive I came across some snippets of Agfa film with some blueprints on it. I guess in the USSR Soviet film was for the proletariat, while better film was used for important matters.

Interesting history of ORWO and Agfa here:
(Pardon the rather stilted Google translation.)

Hmm... most every time someone mentions another film, I'm wondering if I should add more criteria to the list, as in, available from multiple sources for your average consumer.

Maybe we need another thread with more "specialty"/limited production films?

Great thread timw4mail.

I shoot both 35 (with my Pentax Super Program) and 110 (with my Pentax Auto 110). It’s great that there’s still film to be found.

Well, it seems your easiest formats to find film for are 135, 120, large format sheet film, and then a much smaller selection for 110, and 127.

I did discover that there is still some 220 film, if you import it, but it's quite pricey. I should add it to the list.

That's a lot of films

Apparently Superia 200 is dead: List of photographic films - Wikipedia
Superia 200 is gone? I've never used it but it''s the film I see most commonly available. According to that wikipedia page 160NS is also gone, which I hadn't heard about. That's my favourite film - wonderful colours. It'll be a real shame if that's gone.
