ME Super hot shoe issue

Hi guys,
Picked up an ME Super cheap and all seems well - shutter and light meter seem good.
Thing is the hot shoe... I got an AF260Sa flash that I know works and when I put it on the camera it would fire every time I moved the camera, I tried it with another flash too and it did the same. I cleaned the hot shoe but still does the same, circuit board issue or easy fix?

I'd also check the camera's ability to fire the strobe with a PC synch cable connected to the camera's PC socket.
