Harrow Technical will cease trading 29/3- Robin Gowing Retiring

Hi All

I just wanted to put a message out that Harrow Technical will cease trading on the 29th March as Robin Gowing is retiring. I've only used Robin recently but I'm sure there are some out there who've had longer relationships with Harrow.

It's a shame to to lose a Pentax specialist, particularly now I appear to have stock piled a number of Pentax film cameras after only venturing into film 8 months ago!.

That's a big loss in the Pentax repair options. I wonder if Robin worked alone or if anyone else could continue on?

That's sad for the community; he put my 1957 Asahi Pentax back into full operating condition.

From my experience a couple of years ago, Robin was working on his own then - and then effectively only part-time.

There are still a couple of other UK pentax-specialist repairers - see this thread on PentaxUser.com

That's a shame. I had my MX CLA'd there about 4 months ago
