There was a limited run release - including lens, so it is not impossible as some seem to think ->

I enjoyed reading this article on the
Nikon FM3A - Nikon's last production manual camera. It states, "An engineer from the subcontractor engaged in the production of leather grain for FM3A was also getting close to retirement age. There is a story that he had ideas about retiring from the company, but he was reportedly prevented from leaving the company." Regarding the meter needle it states, "We are not competent to fabricate such a small and high-precision product."
I enjoyed the article so much, I had to get me one of those . . .
No doubt I have a few fully functional fully manual cameras, but I would love to reward Pentax with my business if they decide to make a new manual camera that is worthy of a release - not one that is plasticized.
