Yeah, but that affects the image area. I actually have one on my LX.
Yep and you have to do it manually.

The P645N will imprint the exposure settings on the film rebate.

yup, its not a terribly uncommon feature in the later era of film cameras.

It's OK, but not as good as a camera with a manual focusing screen.

I don't know if I would call it "brand loyalty", per se, but if you have a bunch of Pentax lenses, you probably would keep getting Pentax cameras to use them on, just forma practical point of view. The fact that it was the top Pentax SLR before they stopped making them probably also affects the price; the F5 would also probably go for significantly more money if there hadn't been an F6.
This is the reason I'm interested in the MZ-S. Not it of loyalty per se but because I already have a few good A series lenses and my desire to not have to systems to carry around. This might not be possible as the MZ-S is lacking and I do not like the PZ-1P.

You mean the "last best Pentax" thing, or the manual focusing part?

The viewfinder is pretty similar to the DSLR viewfinders; a clear image, with no focusing aids, like micro prism or split-screen. Though perhaps this is the same as any autofocus camera? It's probably the same as your ZX-5, I would think?

What is the issue you have with the PZ-1/p?
