I bagged this last week - ok its not Pentax - but its a good old box. Bit of lost paint on the shoulders but she cleaned up lovely - fully running and weighs a ton.

Neither are Pentaxes, but I found them yesterday for next to nothing, and they both work perfectly.

I have 2 working K1000's (one was my fathers, one is the one he got me so I quit stealing his) and 1 parts K1000 that just has a broken back but I don't want to bother fixing it since I already have 2 working ones. Plus I have my first camera which is an Olympus PnS film camera that works.

I have a mixed bag, some I inherited from my Dad who collected some in his time: Leica's ilia, c, g, Contax ii (not sure yet of more detail) Rollei Baby 4x4 (stuck shutter release), a couple of early Japanese Leica copies, a couple of early folders plus a Patent-Etui 6.5x9cm sheet/plate film camera; then we get onto mine: Pentaxes LX (x2), KX, MX, Spotmatic, SP500, SP1000 (x2), MZ-5, Bronica ETRSi (looking to swap that for a Pentax 645), Nikon F5.

As you can see, I am building a Pentax film camera collection. Every one I get, if it works I try a film through it and ok, it goes in the bag for periodic use; if there's something obviously wrong, it goes off for repair and service (to Robin Gowing, Harrow Technical, in the UK). These cameras will be all in regular use for the rest of my life, I am a devoted Pentax film camera fan!

No, Robin is still working but closed the old office and is (I think) working from home now. He did an LX for me recently and currently has three Spotmatic variations.

Well, that us good news! Robin Gowing has serviced quite a few of my Pentax cameras and also some lenses. He did great work. Do you know how to get into contact with him?

BTW: Here is one of the threads about Robin Gowing’s retirement: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/8-pentax-film-slr-discussion/362815-harr...-retiring.html

I've been emailing him at info at harrow technical dot co dot uk and he has been responding quite quickly. I guess he is only doing limited jobs now but I'm really pleased with his work and hope he carries on !
