Just picked this up...got it in the mail today. It’s in nice condition and ready to shoot as soon as I get some 120 film. I have a close up lens, hood, and lens cap coming too.

I have this... mine is a little more worse for ware, but that's just signs of what its been through. Still works flawlessly. The only thing I don't like about it, is the mount. I think it's a bit cumbersome to put on/off. Not a bad thing, just one of the reasons to reach for my Pentax film cameras instead

The spreadsheet is up to 115 rows. And only 4 of those are digital.

Which model is that? I keep thinking about a Rolleiflex but there is a profusion of models...

Yeah, there are a bunch of them. I don’t think any of them are bad, but some are in the collector realm and command high prices. Some are just newer too. Condition really is what you should look at. This one is a 1951 Automat Rolleiflex model 4. No light meter and it has a 75mm f3.5 Zeiss Tessar lens.

This is my first Rolleiflex and I wasn’t sure what to get to. I just got one for cheap in Good shooting condition.

I like that lens; it's just fun to use. The focus throw is really short and the whole package, MX plus 40mm is wonderfully small and light.

I got the MX with the 40mm in a job lot that had an Olympus OM1n with 50 1.8 and a Nikon F601 with Nikkor 50mm 1.8 pancake.

Another good day. These two were given to me because "they don't work, and I don 't know anything about them". Guess what? They both work perfectly after installing new batteries. The viewfinders are amazingly free of specks and dirt. Also got the manuals for the AE-1 and they are also in great shape.

Before the fairly recent rise in mechanical bodies I bagged a few for very little - theory being it was easier/cheaper to risk buy another than CLA a faulty one. I'm trying to get rid of some of the mundane autos but can't seem to give them away so I guess I'll have to run some film through them. I ended up with several SPs (a couple have mirrors that intermittently stick up or down). I bought an OM-1 to see what all that fuss was about but it doesn't have the finesse that, say an MX has. I have two broken K2s (electronic/shutter problems) and did have a working ME-F + Kf35-70/2.8 AF zoom (the lens has since stopped working).
