I have acquired some older photography equipment. I would like to sell it, but have no clue on what to ask. I have a few Konica SLRs and lenses as well as an Asahi Pentax SP 500 slr camera.
Can anyone tell me how much this camera might be worth, body only and/or with a Super-Takumar 1:2/55mm lens. The camera is in what looks like the original case. There is no lens cap on the lens, but it looks quite clean and scratch free.

I'd appreciate any info.

I would take a look at completed ebay listings and at keh.com to see the current "going rate". Look up "spotmatic" and take it from there.

All kidding aside, I would take the suggestions you recd here, and check ebay for similar shape SP500s and see what they went for.

I'm not very eBay savvy. Where do I find the "Completed Auctions" ?

At the top of the screen click on Advanced Search. On the next screen in the text box under Enter keyword or item number type in Pentax SP500 and on the next line check the Show completed listings only box and click Search.
