Pentax auto exposure camera

@LordLucan: I have my K2 and KX sitting on my desk in front of me! 😜 LesDMess’ picture confirms. The KX and KM were directly derived from the SPF (the K1000 is the KM minus self-timer and stop-down button) but the K2 is definitely and uniquely different.

Yesterday I came across a new old stock *-ist for C$40, that was sitting in a stock room for the last 10 or 20 years. I think this thread must have influenced me to buy it. It’s small, light and plasticy, but seems to work fine. Av mode uses the thumb wheel to set the aperture, so it works with my modern lenses (except for SDM auto-focus). My DA 70 and D-FA 100 work fine, but my Sigma 150-500 OS HSM is manual focus only. The viewfinder is OK for manual focus, a bit better than my K-3 w/magnifying eye cup. The first roll is out for processing. They have C-41 process B&W film now! I guess that helps labs simplify their processing, not having to keep machines for D-76 or its successors, but I digress ... :-)
