Lenses without aperture rings on LX

Hey all,

Getting back into photography with an LX, beautiful camera by the way. Is there any way to shoot a lens (like the 100mm Macro WR) wide open on this camera? Is my best bet to get a reversal ring and hold the aperture open by hand?

Pretty much, yes. IMO it's be better to stick to lenses with an aperture ring, or use an A-series body like the super program.

When you reverse it you can use a DA style lens adapter on the "rear" to give continuous aperture control. This may slightly reduce wide open aperture due to lens mount size.
