Spotmatic light seals in an SV

Hi all, a quick question.

Will a light seal/bumper kit for a Spotmatic fit an SV?

Thanks, Nick

The SV has wider grooves (~2mm) that the Spotmatic (~1mm)

Any suggestions on what to use for an SV then?

I contacted Jon Goodman and his response was that there aren't any templates for the SV but the Spotmatic kit ought to work. Can anyone confirm/deny this?

It is highly likely Jon Goodman knows whereof he speaks. Could you use 2 Spotmatic kits (2 x 1mm = 2mm)? Then there’s the classic braided cord technique for the door seals.

If you really want foam seals, Google AIK-Asahi light seals. They have light seal material cut to different widths. One of the choices is widths from 1.3 (Spotmatic) to 2.5mm on the same sheet. Five of each size. It is adhesive backed.
