Finally found an SB

Hi everyone I collect all Asahi and Honeywell SLRs from the s series to mz. Just recently got my hands on a SB the slow speeds were not working. This is quite easy to fix as all high speeds work fine. Stripped and cleaned working good as new. I will upload later my collection if anyone is interested.Asahi Pentax SB - Google Photos

Great find as the review section is looking for more info about it as it is curently listed under Other Pentax M42 Camera Models as SB - Japanese military version of the S2.

The first time I saw a listing for an SB, I thought it was a misprint. After researching it, I bought it. Took me about 2 years to find and buy an SB2 to go with it.

Hi Thanks for steering me in the right direction.Hi removed front plate and base plate cleaned all gears with alcohol removed slow speed gearbox cleaned and sparingly lubed.

Great find. I only have registered 6 s/n for the SB and 13 SB2 in my own S/N database. (nerdy thing to have...)

Hi do you collect all camera S/N if so I can send you a copy of what I have in my collection although it would be at weekend.
