Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question. If not please, do let me know.

What do you think about cheap negative digitizers like these?

They are currently on offer in my local lidl store for 25 EUR.

I know, these are not really scanners but a webcams. However, can they be used as a quick and dirty way to get some decent previews from B&W negatives. Is it a complete waste of time and money? Just wondering if someone has any practical experience.

I can spend more money on craft beer and have nothing to show for it in the end. For that price why not if you can afford it.

I personally use my phone, a negative viewing app, and a lightbox to quickly look at negatives like a contact print. That does have the advantage of directly copying to your computer. Interesting that LIDL has one.
