Pentax K with screwmount - do you have any info?

Hello everyone,
I was just curious about this Pentax K I came across. I found info already about the lens on your forum but couldn't find anything about the body. Please let me know if you have already discussed this or there are resources somewhere else.

OMG...soooo fast! Thank you. haha
I had cleaned up as there was a lot of dust in the prism but mechanically was still perfect, I already tested with film and works perfectly.

Welcome to the Forums from Australia. That is a nice camera and quite an uncommon one as it was only on the market for about a year. It looks like it is in beautiful condition.

Beautiful camera!
The Pentax K was the third iteration of the original Asahi Pentax ("AP") 35mm SLR.
The "AP" was released in 1957, followed by the S model in 1958 and very quickly the K model also in 1958. It was the first camera with the pushbar for auto aperture operation.
It was built from 1958 to 1959 when it was replaced by what we call the S series.
