The nice feature of the F300/4.5 is the removable tripod collar, one of the few Pentax 300mm lenses with one.

I see it lists the almost mythical 35mm f/1.4 lens. Bojidar suggests maybe 5 were made.

Thanks for posting this.
I doubt the lens ever reached the production stage. If it had we would have seen one by now. Maybe some prototypes exists somewhere...
There was also a an A 35/1.4. It also never materialized.....

Does anyone have the 2000mm F13.5? That's a beast!
Mark, you wouldn't make a bad trade with the 6x7 of this pentaxiana doc, would you?

I cannot for the life of me remember which forum and when, but I have a distinct memory of seeing some images with and of this lens. It may well, of course, still be a prototype but it is odd that they would make a lens hood for it. All very odd!

There used to be a Pentax museum in Japan, that was shutdown when Hoya took over. They may have had one?

The prototype K20/1.4 AL surfaced earlier this year for sale in Asia, so there's always hope.

......You are absolutely right for Diane Kruger. Obviously I would like to know why she has a Pentax and not another brand.

Ciao Mario
