Hello,

I know this is an old topic, but my ZX-7 died while sleeping. I suppose it is the dreaded gear failure, common in these bodies.
I think I saw a tutorial somewhere on how to fix it. But most importantly, Where can I get the replacement brass gear? Anybody still doing that today?

I think when I looked at the site selling the gears that it was most cost effective to buy three with shipping and all.

Hope it works out for you and look forward to photos of the operation.
