One of the things I really like about the 'newer' LX-2000 is Pentax added a camera strap pin to the Finger Grip,
providing strap pins on both left & right sides of the camera when the grip is attached. On the 'regular' LXs, if the
Finger Grip is attached, a camera strap can only be attached to the two left side pins of the camera.
I like this feature, so I kept a look out for another LX-2000 grip w/pin for use on my 'regular' LX, too.
Amazingly, I found one within a month! I was able to buy a used LX-2000 grip with no camera attached!
Picture below is my LX-2000 showing the 'Special' Grip with camera strap pin near it's top.
I do not have the OEM leather strap, so I use a brown Tamrac N-45 strap on this camera instead.
Yep, I shoot with this camera, it is not a 'Shelf Queen'.
I'm quite happy with my "ordinary" LX but I'd love one of those updated grips. I rarely use the standard grip because I dislike the camera dangling down sideways.
