BUMP! Where is the sightseer? Is it still on tour or missing in action?? Cliff

I know where it is. It is inactive however. Are you interested in trying it? If so, I will work it out.

No, I just enjoy the travels as I have my SCREWMOUNT, an ancient Spotmatic from 1969 which, by the way still takes decent pics.
I just hate to see such a great thread go dormant. Cliff

You just answered the question to the problem.

If the Sightseer is indeed dead in the water, maybe it's time it found its way home to Woof...

Best,
Kevin

If it is sitting inactive right now I would love to give it another try. If people aren't totally bored with seeing shots of Northern Nevada I would love to give it another go as the fall colors are coming in.

Glad to see that the sightseer is on the move again. It is a sweet kit and should not be sitting idle.

Steve

...particularly since several of us pitched in for a CLA not that long ago!

Bring it on in Norther Nevada. Looking forward to seeing the rocks, remains of the silver mining days and other artifacts from Northern Nevada. I have no clue as to what is in N.N, something other than casinos and glitter I assume. Thanks for stepping forward...Cliff

The Sightseer is Here

The USPS delivered it to my house in fine shape. It now has film in it and it is on the road again.

Just to keep everyone in the loop. I have been out shooting film. Unfortunately, in the time period between now and the last time I was able to use the SV we no longer seem to have in-town film processing for color. It takes at least a week to turn color film around so it will be slower to get pix posted.

To avoid too much boredom I am trying to shoot color and black and white. I develop the black and white myself so I can hopefully get those turned around a little quicker. But to be honest, with all the fall colors, this is the season for color so a lot of what I'm shooting right now will take a while to get back from the lab and then posted.

I will try to do a little color developing myself, though I have to be honest, the last couple times around my results were not exactly encouraging. But, that is what learning is all about! Just bear with me and I will get some things posted as soon as possible.
