It's not a big deal. When it comes around it comes around, I've got my spotmatic to play with until then.

I recognize that course for a winter cycle-cross race I went to. Very, very nasty when wet! No pictures of the muddy contestants?

Those are all digital, as I had to break out the flash. It started at 20:00 (8 pm) so it was very dark when it ended!

Maybe there's a mini-challenge/thematic thread you can post them in.

Or simply post them up to your Flickr account and post the link (not the pictures) on this thread.

Thanks for the updated list. I had just PM'd PGillin. I'll tap ISO50 instead!

IS050 had been added to the list verbally a ways back and I put him behind you because of him being in the same area as Steve and you. I just didn't write it in. Tell PGillin that that one is on me.

I was out shooting all day yesterday with the sightseer, just got back the first roll developed & scanned at my local Costco. I am half way through the second roll and should be able to finish it by next weekend if not sooner. I will then package it up the Sightseer and send it to PGillin. I did my shots using ME Super as meter, I kept the same exposure from shots to shots unless the light shifts, I just needs to keep remind myself there’s no need to take additional readings between shots unless the light changes. I am glad the pictures turn out ok. The SV is very smooth to operated and easy to focus, I had a great time with it. Thank you again for sharing.
PS/ I posted these pictures on Flickr Sightseeing Groups but did not see any on the group pages? Any advice?

Go look again. I just added them. Flickr's new Beta system isn't any better than the old about notifying people about things. Good showing BTW.

David!

Your shots are just too cool. It is interesting that some of my photos with the Sightseer were taken in the same neighborhoods as yours, but we came away with quite different photos. I really like the columns on the old U.S. Bank building (I walked right by and didn't even take a photo there) and the one of the KOIN Tower (walked right by that one too...again, no picture). I have photographed the tower behind the Teddy Roosevelt statue and the statue itself before, just not with the Sightseer.

Well, I guess this year is the year for the Sightseer and the Portland/Vancouver area. Many thanks to the group for allowing the camera to stay here so long!

Steve

(...and yes, we really do have a lot of bridges around here. David, Pete, and I did not even scratch the surface bridge-wise.)

Steve,
Like I said you have pretty much cover all the interested places in this area. I have to work extra hard not to duplicate it, wait until you see some of the pictures from my second roll, some of the places are just cross street from where you took yours!
I am just too lazy to go outside of the Portland downtown areas.
