Mine is:

Report to eBay: Item not received.

I paid on 2/27, she said she shipped on 3/2, and today is 3/12.

It doesn't take 10 days for something to go from Upstate New York to Florida.

So to make myself feel better, I just did a But-It-Now on a Spotty SP from a seller I used before. (30 bucks!) And so, from this day forward, I hate K1000s.

If it arrives, I'll be amazed. But if not, I'm going to have a one-question trivia contest to win the K to 42 adapter that I also just bought just for this camera. Because no way I'm going to hunt out another K1000 simply because of this stupid adapter.

Totally free, no shipping charges, but the category will be Jackie Gleason's "The Honeymooners."

So start studying, kids!

Thanks Mauritz. I have updated the database.

We can now determine the order in which the cameras were manufactured. The remaining uncertainty is what year the production switched from 82xxxxx (metal top/bottom) to 4xxxxxx (plastic), and what year production was terminated:

According to dmitrov's site, it was terminated in 1997.

K1000

However, Bojidar Dimitrov isn't very complementary of the k1000.

The K1000's total lack of convenience features might explain the cult status of the camera among photo students worldwide, but it fails to explain its popularity with Pentax enthusiasts. I mean, do you people not miss viewfinder information on aperture and shutter speed, a self-timer, a DOF preview lever or minimal flash automation? Wouldn't an MX, KX or a KM be a better choice?
