Fujifilm Astia 100F

i'm impartial to slides, they are sharp, yes, and the colours and contrasts are nice

but they are finicky with exposure and cost an arm and a leg to get developed

Nice photos. I especially like the second one. I tried with Astia, I really did, but it was too mellow for me. Great skin tones, obviously, but washed out outdoors. Having said that, maybe there's something about the combination of Astia and Cuba ...

I looked through your set in Flickr. Good photos, I must say. I'm still hesitant to shoot slide film, as I feel I'm not good enough with metering still to make coherent exposures out of it. Amazing the dynamic range film has. There are shots in your gallery where a DSLR would've blown the highlights (unless HDR'd).
