Kodak Ektar 100

i really like this film

cheap to buy and cheap to develop
doesnt curl, easy to scan
high latitude, and the contrast/colours are pleasant (to me)

wish they made it in iso 400 :P

full selection can be found here:

I just found out about this film the other day... Adorama carries it. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

It might be terrific, but where does one find a lab nowadays that can do it justice?

Nice pics. Lovely film -- nice colors, very tight and unintrusive grain. These are not much to look at, but they are Ektar pictures, so here goes:

Hope you don't mind others posting Ektar pics in your thread here.

the lab that i drop my film off, the lady there really likes the film and they put a little extra effort in their work, (even though they still scratch it occasionally like everyone else)

i don't know why but almost every Ektar photo i've seen, there is some kind of pastel rendition to it (at least from how i see the colours). i prefer the stuff out of 400H personally.

where did you send your latest batch of film?

I believe Adorama put a bulk discount on the ektar 100 after a member here asked for it think you have to buy like 20 rolls but could be wrong about that

Hehe, this film is nice, isn't it?

I am going to buy 2 dozens of B+W TriX to do street soon. That would cost money!

I was just looking around ... and there's a couple of places in Australia that does bulk Pro Fuji film ... but nothing really in Kodak though.

When you start looking at over 10 rolls in a pack its getting well over the $100 mark ... with some films fetch above $200 for 10 rolls.
