If you want to shoot with a hand held meter, consider one of Pentax's preSpotmatics as well. Another option would be to get a Mamiya NC1000 or one of the ZE series with a p-adapter for m42 lenses. The NC1000 is an impressively small body packed with features. The optics are very good. The p-adapters are available in Europe. I had to get one from England for about $6 USD and about that shipping.

FYI Went for the Chinon.. cosmetically could be better for the price but seems to be a very decent camera. Calculated to be cheaper than some spot + meter.
