One last colour shot, and then I stop spamming this thread for a while. (If only because I'm nowhere near finished any new colour rolls at the moment. )

This roll of Astia came out less blue than the last one, which is good as I forgot that I was planning on shooting it with a warming filter. Can't recall if there's a closeup filter on this shot or not, but given the size of the flowers and the camera's usual MFD of 1m, I'm guessing probably.

Meopta Flexaret IIa.
Mirar 75mm f4.5.
Fujichrome Astia 100 (expired).

I really like this. Good depth and immediacy. The light on your face and eyes is so good; I'm seeing you.
Indeed a very nice portrait. Congrats for the collaborated work!

Whatever those red things are, they're certainly odd. At first I thought they were a trompe l'oeil drawn on the pavement, but I'm seeing a reflection on the middle one, so I'm guessing not.
They are plastic cubes from an art installation in an outdoor space in the Whitney Museum, taken from a couple floors up. This shot shows them from eye level, so it's easier to tell what they are. They go from a dark red on the left side cube to a very light red on the right cube.

I got nine rolls back yesterday, four 120 and five 35mm. Rolls covered a recent trip to Morocco with the Marines, stuff around the local area, a family shoot with the in-laws side and a test roll with a recently acquired K35/35.

Here's one of the first frames from my 645n with the 150/3.5. My parents' lab pup, Hannah. I absolutely love the silky smooth look of the out of focus areas on the 120. Really looking forward to trying something like Ektar and Velvia 50. I have more Portra and Tri-X 400 to put through it.

Motion!

A "pan" shot that worked. UP heritage steam engine just taking off on a local track. Pentax MG, Fuji 200.

Kid went from a trike to 16" bike without training wheels in a matter of weeks. Fun part about film is seeing how much transpires between the shutter click and a developed photograph.

Pentax LX, probably K35/3.5, Expired TMAX3200 pulled to 1600. Even though it was stored in the fridge, most of these came out underexposed, even when using a Sekonic meter. Only roll of TMAX 3200 I have or likely ever will, so maybe it was just the film was slower than actually rated on the box.

I know those are typically viewed at ground level, but I do believe you discovered an intentional "easter egg" left by the artist. The placement and sizing are precise to the pavement tiles allowing for a compelling illusion from above.

Very cool...

Pentax P3, FA 50 1.4, Fuji Pro 400H.

These two shots were done at F1.4.

- Makarska, Croatia
- Plitvička Jezera / Plitvice Lakes National Park.

Frankly speaking I was disappointed with this film. The grain is excessive and the colours are frequently way off (the last shot demonstrates it well enough). Perhaps there was no point in using an ISO 400 film in harsh bright sun. I do not exclude the possibility that the lab I used (The darkroom) managed to f*ck up the scans.
