Feral furniture. (And a little bit of lens flare.) From one of my first self-processed C41 rolls!

Olympus made a nice telescopic extension tube to go with dedicated macro lenses:

But some things are too big to fit!

Experimenting with my A85 wide open, trying to get a sort of "surreal painting" look. (K2DMD & A85/1.4 shooting Fuji Superia 200)

This one is closest to what I wanted:

Interesting effect and very artistic. The hard vertical, dead centre line of the front flower is a little unsympathetic to the soft mood though. Of course, it was meant to be the main subject originally, so that is understandable.

After almost 11 years threw a fresh set of batteries into the MZ-60 and ran off the roll Kodak ISO-400 film in the Camera
All shots were done with the Kit FAJ 28-90 with the exception of the last shot done with the Crop Sensor Tamron 18-200
I don't know if it had to do with the age of the film or other factors such as processing but the images seem to be more to the Blue side of the spectrum than the same scene shot with a K70

I went out with my 1961 Asahi Pentax S3 that i got back from the Guy to whom I sold it over 40 years ago -- camera is now 56 years old -- I renewed the light seal strips but I got a bit of fogging on this home=processed film as the strip near camera back door had broken, so I had to renew it again. I used a 24 shot 07/2005 dated 'Tudor' ( Fuji) 100 rated 64ASA and metered with a British Weston Master V and some by 'Guesswork'
SMC Takumar 150mm f4 at f4

Poppy Wave at Shoeburyness, Essex -- now dismantled. SMC Takumar 150mm f4 at f18

SMC Takumar 150mm f4 at f5.6 -- London Red Bus over Lambeth Bridge

Victoria Tower, House of Lords entrance from Westminster Gardens -- I used the SMC Takumar 50mm f1.4 off my Spotmatic -F

Thanks!

My original plan was to have the flower in the middle in sharp focus. But that went by the wayside as I could not hold the focus as I had no tripod and the DOF was razor thin due to shooting at f/1.4 and at the lenses minimum focusing distance. The film is also a bit grainy so I thought the soft focus would be OK.

I took the shot at VanDusen gardens. If you haven't been there in a few years since you left B.C., it's changed a lot with a whole new main entrance and restaurant. Worth a visit if you are ever back in town.

I'm not sure what happened here.

Well, I know exactly what happened —I left both shutters open when I advanced the film — I'm just not certain why it happened. I doubt that I forgot to press the release to end T mode, though it's possible. More likely is that I was using a self timer or cable to stop the exposure, and it failed to push the release in all the way.

Still, I thought it was interesting looking. I enjoy how you can tell that the film advance isn't a single smooth motion, but rather a series of short, quick ones them.

Interesting shot of your $100,000+ yellow rubber duck! I hear it's become quite the tourist attraction?

Phil.

Here is one of Vancouver's tax funded "Art projects" of painted pianos strategically placed around the city. This ones in False Creek near where I live.

(LX & K35/2 shooting CineStill 50)

I like it. One of the happy accidents you get when using film, though of course you got neither of the individual photos you'd planned for...
