Was trying out a new rangefinder unit with this roll, and while it's much contrastier than my old one I'm not certain I've got it adjusted fully. Focus often seems a little off in the resultant shots. Though in this first one, that it was wide open likely didn't help; those edges are not good.
Looks plenty sharp to me.

The grass in the first is a little blurry. Some of it could just be circle of confusion issues, as I was tilted upwards slightly to fit everything in.

Just got back my couple rolls of Portra from camping at the Oregon Beach during the eclipse. I accidentally left all of my lenses at home outside of the one on my k1000 which was my 28mm... not the most ideal, but i like the photos I got! I also found that one of the most interesting aspects of the eclipse were the reactions and attitudes of the people looking at the eclipse.

Here is my favorite from the beach.

Two B/W shots with the Pentax 645N from Sønderborg Castle, Denmark. The oldest part of the construction dates back to the year 1158. The castle guards the inlet to the Als Strait (Alssund).

The two cannon in the pictures were used in some of the battles in the wars between Denmark and German states in the mid 19th century.

I wonder if any "reverse-rolled" color negs would come out like that.

A few years ago, when redscale was tres trendy in the lo-fi scene, I reverse-rolled an el-cheapo roll just to see what it would do. It was my once-in-this-lifetime shot at it, and nothing really came out very good.

You typically get a LOT of red, some yellow peeking through from the light that catches the green layer, and no real greens and blues unless you really burn it (see second example below).
