Great shots, Phil. Spot on metering with your LX, resulting in fantastic saturation with that Provia. I love that stuff.

Oh, interesting. I'd never heard that before. The film I have is different though.

Shot some Rollei Variochrome, but can't say that most of the roll turned out well enough that I'd be willing to share frames from it. I've used Rollei's other colour reversal film before, and this has some similarities — notably the yellow cast — but it reminds me of nothing so much as FPP's RetroChrome 320.

Given that Variochrome is fresh stock and RetroChrome is expired Ektachrome, I probably wouldn't consider that a compliment.

Canon AE-1.
Unknown lens. (Probably a 50/1.4, based on the rendering.)
Rollei Variochrome.

The second shot of where I belive the Dueling photographers are sitting, on the edge of the harbour boardwalk in Sydney brings many memories for me. A few Km. away from the Yacht Club on the opposite side of the Harbour in Westmount is the Coast Guard College where I did my training as a Marine Engineer over 40 years ago
