Cool shot, woof - love the reflections.

Here's a quick grab shot on my way out of Wuhan, China:

I wish my "quick grabs" looked like that!

Well, the cab driver looked at me like I was insane. And the whirring and chugging of the MZ-7's autofocus doesn't make things any easier... I believe a new camera purchase is coming shortly

It's a very nice shot, so I'd say your temporary "insanity" paid off!

Nesster...

That last one of the glass mobile is just too cool! Kudos to the artist that created it and to you for seeing the photo in the art!

Fuji Reala converted to warm tone B&W.

I wasn't sure if I liked the color version, but when I converted to B&W it's one of my favorite prints I've done. I tried to match this web version closely to what the print looks like on Epson Exhibition Fiber. The print is a little darker. All dependent on your monitor though. I've really gotta try some proper B&W.

Original color version here: 091031_Reala_1_3 copy on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

I started a Kodachrome thread this morning and figure that a little cross-post as a means of promotion is acceptable:

A Cold Morning at Paulina Lake

Pentax KX, Tamron 28/2.5 02B, Kodachrome 64

It was very cold when I took this picture (about 25 F) and the camera was the same temperature. I had to be very careful not to frost the lens with my breath. I took a similar shot about 15 minutes later with the K10D (Link Here). The K10D was not too happy with the cold...shutter/mirror sounded like they were moving through molasses. The KX did not complain.

Great shot! The coldness really comes through. I wanted to mention the same thing about one of your earlier Ektar shots too. The ones of the snowy walk with an Olympus. Ektar's(and Kodachrome's) blues really add to the feeling.
