Thanks. Right now I am metering at box speed on my SuperProgram, however, I don't know how the meter in the SP treats intermediate speeds. Its numbered 100, 200, 400, etc, but it has two notches between each. So I set the Ektar at 100, but I set the Portra 160 at the second notch. The manual seemed to imply that intermediate values would be ignored, but if thats the case does it round up or down? The windmill image was intentionally metered for the mountains in the background and dark foreground is very much what I wanted.
nonetheless, these are the first two rolls of color anything I've shot in a long time. I have a lot of B&W under my belt, but not much color. The developing and scanning was done by thedarkroom.com, and I haven't seem the negatives yet, so I don't know whether they similarly exposed on the negative.
