White Point, NS.
That is a nice even exposure considering the dark area and shadow caused by the right rock.

Hah! I wasn't even paying attention to the horizon when I took the shot!

Not duck tape, but I did cover up the hole for the now missing flash connector with some black electrical tape.
Come on fellas, these are fine photographic instruments we're talking about. Gaffer's tape or nothing at all. The best.

About 20 years ago I was privileged to be the photographer on a medical research project in KwaZakhele, on the outskirts of Port Elizabeth, South Africa this is one of many pictures I took then on Provia 100 with a Z-1 and FA 28-105. Most of the pictures I had to hand over, but few were taken for my personal portfolio. I'm sure I've posted others before, but can't remember which, so I'm being cautious here.

I wish I was old enough to shoot a camera when I lived in Africa (Nigeria.) My father is bringing out some of the slides he shot when we were there, and I'm going to help digitize them. Here is me around the same time, when we were in Greene, NY right before we moved to Zaria, Nigeria. I was in charge of holding his camera case when he was shooting.

Ok, I had to quote your post to see its origins... wrong end of the province! And no, I haven't seen it before.
Funny thing is that in the next Acadian community along the shore there was another impressive catholic church, presumably built with a sense of competition. Not being able to go higher, they used stone. It sits on a hill and dominates the surroundings, looking as if it might be a european abbey rather than a rural church in a village of 850 people.

OK...that does it. I have several cameras with partially finished rolls languishing on the shelf and each of them begging to have a go at doing the shopping cart thing. This should be easy. The local ditches have an abundance of carts.
