A few portraits taken recently with non-Pentax gear: Mamiya 645E with 150 and 70mm, on Kodak Portra 160.

I hated the whole experience: heavy camera, difficult to obtain manual focus, expensive film and scanning, and the results not much different from my little K-S1.

Some shots from the Dark Mofo winter festival in Hobart.

MX, SMC-K 50/f1.2 and Fuji Industrial 400. I wasn't sure what to expect from this film in very challenging light, and was super impressed with the outcome.

The second shot is awesome. I'll take the gear off your hands for the cost of shipping.

Sold to a young idiot who broke it the very next day. Fortunately, it wasn't my problem anymore...

A few samples of the "new" Ektachrome 100, the last shot was with a LPL: (Super A using the FA LTD's)

Phil.
Looks great.
Seems to me it has a little less saturated look compared to the E100G that was discontinued years ago.

Clever. I wouldn't have sold the camera and lens that took your second portrait shot for anything. And definitely not to a "young idiot".

It was 70mm F2.8 wide open.

I think the best old Mamiya 645 lens is the 80mm F1.9, it's dreamy wide open and makes awesome 3D effect stopped down.
