This picture was a pain in the butt to take. Worth it? A fairly attractive woman told me she really liked it. So yes.

A bit of post processing on this one to remove some of the lens distortion, but nothing too major.

Half-Frame

I was a little jealous of all these beautiful medium format images, so I decided to contribute some of my own.
Then I sat down for a little while, and the feeling went away.

Instead, I put some TMAX 100 in my Canon Dial 35 and played.

The results were garbage...

... and recycling... but pretty good, all things considered...

It was fun, but I hate zone focusing... especially up close...

I will say the 6Mp my lab gets on half-frame is plenty, even for film as tight as TMAX 100.
Grain-wise, it looks a lot like the full-frame XP2 I like to shoot.

Here's another, cropped a bit on the side...

Bought this lens several years ago when I was shooting digital. It's full frame, so makes as much sense to shoot it on film as anything else.

Not that I needed the full frame on this shot, as I wound up cropping the sides down significantly to get rid of some distracting background.

Pentax Program Plus
Pentax-D FA 100mm f2.8 Macro.
Kodak Portra 800.
