Very nice! What's the film stock?
I'm afraid I don't know offhand. I didn't put it into the metadata, and the negs are buried in a box in my study. I'll dig them out later.

This is very nice - an attractive street and the shot has great colour and is perfectly composed and suits the square format.

We have a giant baby head here in Madrid too, it's down next to the Atocha train station. I've shot it once but not on film. I'm not sure if it's supposed to mean something.

Same trash, different day, different way

I posted the same trash cans (used for yard trimmings) and fence on December 8th, shot with the Fed 2.

This was shot with an old Zeiss Nettar folder at the end of November. I think the light is better on this one, with the sun on the fence through the trees above...

But that viewfinder is about worthless...

"scanned" with the K1.

! know I haven't posted this before because I've just uploaded it th Flickr - Palm Beach. Lake Malawi back in 1994 - stormy far shore and leisured near shore - Provia 100 in the Z-1 with F 28-105, I think (and inadequate slide dust removal, as usual )

Yeah I hear you, same with the Ricoh 35s. Gives 'point & shoot' a whole new meaning...

From one extreme to the other

I've been playing with some different formats recently.

This image was taken using the Pentax Auto 110 on Lomography Tiger 200 film and the 18mm lens.

Slow par Kris Lockyear, on ipernity

This image was taken using a Horseman LE 5x4 view camera loaded with Ilford FP4 Plus using a Schneider Kreuznach 90mm f/6.8 Grandagon N lens.

St Mary's, Saffron Walden par Kris Lockyear, on ipernity

The former would barely make a passable 6x4 print, the latter would print to 1m x 1.2m (and I didn't scan it at full resolution).

This ones in Spain as well, but I forgot which city.

I think it's either Barcelona or Bilbao.

Ayot St Lawrence New Church bathed in early morning light. This church was designed by Nicholas Revett and replaced the medieval church. The medieval one became a picturesque ruin in the grounds of Ayot House whereas this one faced the house across the park. The haha would have originally been clear of vegetation so that the view of the church was unimpeded by a fence or wall.

Horseman LE 5x4 view camera, Schnieder Kreuznach 90mm f/6.3 Grandagon N lens, Kodak Portra 160 film.

That rangefinder lens has a great sense of depth/3d.
Must have been fastidious with the lens cap or ready-case to conserve the selenium.
