That's pretty impressive. I wouldn't have thought it possible (mostly because of my own clumsy attempts at similar).

A local tree. Lubitel and Delta 100. There's a noticeable dark section on the left side of some of this round of Harman Lab's scans. It's not on the negatives, so I'm not sure what the deal is. I need to put my negative digitizing apparatus (via either dslr or mirrorless) back into service and see if I can improve on these.

Thanks guys! Actually, with a good scan to start with, it is less difficult than one would think. I have others with local faded areas and these are much worse.

Lovely photo! I’m not sure but the dark edge looks a lot like the uneven development I find really hard to avoid with 120 films even with careful development. Perhaps it is not so evident in the negative because of the much lower contrast.

Thanks! Could be - I intend to have a closer inspection over the next couple of days.

It would be pretty easy to improve on the washed-out appearance by running these images through a white balance or equalize filter in post, unless it's a look you want.
suppose i had it in my head that since it cross process i should scan it as a negative but tried it as positive which the film is E6.....not that it's stellar or anything but certainly an improvement especially in regards to the milky like look........reckon i will be re-scanning a bunch of stuff that i think will be worth the time.....fun being a noobie!!

of course this was how i originally did the scan which has been posted here before but placed again for easy reference and comparison

Are the lines through the frame at the bottom on the negatives (err... positives) themselves, or are they just a scanning artifact?

honestly i do not know! i am very new to this.....however there have been times when a very distinct magenta bar (maybe twice the width) has been caused by dust and there is certainly dust in the scan (solid yellow squigs) so it maybe due to my "messiness".......there are other lines which are much smaller in width that i believe is the film......

I don't know what scanner you're using but my Epson v600 does that from time to time, sometimes starting in the middle of a roll. I try to watch for it during the scan, and the only way to get rid of it I've found is restarting the scanner and redoing the scan(s).

Sometimes the streak can be cloned out in post in individual shots, but generally not worth the effort.

They look like classic emulsion scratch to me.
