I discovered that about Ektar in a similar way. I accidentally shot an entire 35mm roll in my my Contax G2 at iso 640. I was really surprised at how well most of that roll came out. I think Ektar is probably the only color negative film that will handle underexposure that well. Even Portra doesn't do as well.
