Looks like you have a good handle on color negative conversion - looks natural to me.
Thanks! I'm using darktable, which has a dedicated module for negative inversion and that makes it a bit easier than just with tone curves.

I've now realized that it's even easier if I set the white balance to 5000k, which is what the light pad is rated at, I had it at whatever the camera picked before. Not entirely free of needing fine tuning, but a lot closer. I'm still learning this new workflow to scan with my camera

En La Barranca

My first edit with my newest lens. I knew it was going to be a good lens from the site's lens reviews.
But then, you never know if your copy will meet with one's expectations. It is such a joy to shoot with
an all manual control camera!

No reflection on your fine photo, but I don't care if I never see another one of those Louise Bourgeois 'spiders' -- they look like they were made from pipe cleaners and toilet paper spray-painted black at a kids' summer camp.

Yeah I've also seen one at the National Gallery in Ottawa. Same as the "baby face" piece.

This is with the Lubitel's lens at f/4.5 - something I rarely do for a variety of reasons. Lomography 100 color film. This is my fourth roll of color film in 12 months. That might be a new record!
