I'd not had a working TTL meter for ~30-years, until I acquired a K1000 with working meter a couple of years ago. Until then I was using (and still using for other, broken-meter bodies) a low-end handheld sekonic meter with dodgy battery contacts, or sunny 16. The working meter appears to be accurate, however there is little discernible difference to my results.
My Gossen came apart in my hands a couple of years ago.
While I miss it, I have an app for my phone that works extremely well.
I do want a replacement, though…

I've tried a phone app, which I found to be as accurate as the sekonic, but a whole lot kludgier. The sekonic keeps on ticking, somehow.

Above the Tree Line

Rocky Mountain National Park

At 11,796' elevation in Rocky Mountain National Park and
above the "tree line". (In Colorado the tree line is at around 11,000 to 12,000 feet)

Of interest, these leading clouds moving in on a cold front produced the first snow
of the winter that night.
