Frank, what is that lens the guy's shooting?
It's something from early days, attached to an AF 50mm Nikon lens w/o glass. The whole thing was mounted on a Fuji S2 Pro, still can do AF. Pretty cool isn't it

Frank, nice B&W and the Reala shots of the Monk are phenomenal.

Here's one from my first troll through my (new to me) K2.

Pentax K@, K 55/1.8, Fujicolor 200
Thanks. Looking at those b&w photos, I want to go back to shoot that street again

Nice shot btw, excellent moment and angle.

@Swift
Great capture! I especially likethe DOF and how the dog is quietly waiting in the background, kinda just watching over her... like a protector. Is that your daughter? My little boy was very interested in "that girl", and kept asking what her name was.

Thanks Vertex. Yes that is my daughter. Her name is Etta and she's 19 months old.

@Swift1, congrats on the new toys, a great photograph (on the preceding page), and on your daughter.

No more lab development for me - I'm tired of wasting money on over-cooked, super-contrasty negatives. From today on I'll be doing it myself! Depending on what the store has, I'm going to go for Tri-X in D-76 or HP5+ in Ilfotec DD-X. Any thoughts?

That last shot is great Javier

Here are a few from some rolls I just got developed:

LX+Leica Summicron-R 90mm+Long Expired Portra 400VC

Lx+Leica Summicron-R 90mm+Fuji Pro 800Z

LX+K 50mm 1.2+Long Expired Superia 100

I just got the Leica a couple of weeks ago but it's already grown on me quite a bit.

Javier, some nice b&w again. Like the tone and contrast.

As easytiger said above, mine from local shops look too contrasty and over sharpened some times Probably should start my own development too?

So you got a Leica? That's nice. I'm thinking of getting a Leica too, probably start from a 50/2 ... But our Pentax 50s are already very good ...
