Nice crisp photos from that S1a there Steve. Looks like you could feed the whole family on those two steaks too!

Believe it , or not, that was just a small fraction of all of the meat cooked, haha. they had 3 grills going at once, and the main one was much bigger than the one in the photo. Those are pork ribs, when done right, they are as good as it gets!!!

I developed some Arista Premium 100 in Diafine last night.
These were all shot about 3 weeks ago at the University Of Oregon campus in Eugene.
All with MZ-L and FAJ 18-35mm.

My sister and a bunch of her friends dress up as anime characters and attend anime conventions together. I can't recall which series these costumes are from; I'll have to ask her again. She wanted some pictures of this particular outfit so we went out to a local park.

What film did you use to take the picture of your sister?

Those Cosplay people can have some wild costumes!!! I would never dress up, but love to check
out the crazy stuff people come up with.

Back to Ektar 100...I find it difficult to do street shooting as it is simply to slow a film, even with a fast lens...

Quoted from my sister: The "Characters are Sakura and Yukito from Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles by CLAMP."

The film was a roll of expired Kodak Verichrome HS 6329.

This shot is desaturated Fuji NPS 160 from an Agfa Synchrobox:

Tried on something different from my usual style, taken these w/ LX+M50/1.4 on Reala100:

Don't really like them as much as those I got from previous outing though.

I've broken out the Diafine lately so I don't have to worry about temperature control during the heat wave we've been having here in the Eastern US. Added bonus: I can develop different types of film in the same batch.

Here's a beautiful old Land Rover, fully tricked out for off-roading, that's been parked in my neighborhood for months (note stack of parking tickets under wiper). P3n, Pentax-M 35mm f/2, Arista Premium 400 @ 1000.

An unused swimming pool in a gymnasium at the University of Pennsylvania. Diafine gives tremendous exposure range: there's detail in everything from the sunlit skylights to the dark benches. P3n, Sigma Mini-Wide II 28mm f/2.8, Arista Premium 400 @ 1000.

Finally, here's the Beach Theatre in Cape May, NJ. On our most recent trip I was disappointed to learn that it had closed and may be torn down for condominiums. This was shot with a ZXM, Pentax-M 35mm f/2, LegacyPro 100 @ 200.

Neil, Diafine, eh? I never tried it in all these decades... your pics are excellent and maybe I'll have to try some.

Here's an old one, showing how with digital processing you can get good B&W with color film. Fuji 160S in a Voigtlander Bessa 66 from '37
