Gabriola Island Rock Forms Number 17.
Olympus OM2, Zuiko 50/1.8
Ilford XP2 . This was on my first roll with an OM2 that I picked up for almost nothing. Never used an Olympus before- a little gem.

One more from me. I've decided to start posting some of my past work. I'm slowly going through nearly 40 years of images and scanning a selection with my V700.

Dene Drummers. Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. 1994.
Super Program, A70-210, Ilford XP2

Thanks Paul, I have enjoyed what I have seen of your shots so far.

Here's a shot I took at night of the Perth Supreme Court building. Just realised now that I'm unsure whether it's straight enough, what do you think?

Super Program, SMC-M 50 f/1.4, Kodak BW400CN (shot @ 200iso)

RAAF Bullcreek Aviation Museum - Super Program, SMC-M 50 f/1.4, Kodak BW400CN

p.s. - That last photo was taken at a museum with really crappy light, basically a big hangar. I shot one roll of BW400CN and used my K200D @ 1600iso the rest of the time. Interestingly, the film photos look far better than those taken on digital, even after a fair bit of cleaning up (in terms of PP and noise reduction in LR - the film however is untouched). I know the K200D/K10 sensor is not great at 1600iso, but I'm still amazed - go film! I guess it's not a fair comparison because the film shots were taken close to 400iso @ f/1.4-f2.0. The digitals I used the 15mm Limited wide open at f/4.

I have been scanning a lot today - so one more for tonight.
Much to my relief, I have been getting sharper film images in more landscape-style shots. This may sound dumb, but as someone who came from digital I almost never used a UV filter when taking photos with a film SLR. I also think my beloved M50 f/1.4 is rather prone to a bit of flare or UV haze especially with infinity focus. But now I have been forcing myself to use one, and I also ordered some lens hoods.
Anyway here is a recent shot:

Nice shot Jason, I also like the one before from the museum.
Do you find that the UV Haze filter helps with film shots?

Thanks Colton.
While I certainly haven't done any real controlled tests, my impression is that the UV filter definately does help. Will have to keep using one through different light conditions and films to see for sure though. It kinda makes sense though, I think the UV light is very strong here. We get warnings about it in weather reports here throughout the hotter months.

Some more of my shots from the museum are here.

But here's a happy model who spent an afternoon shooting with her late Grand father's Spotmatic SPII. The roll is not finished yet, but I provided the metering as the SPII has a dead light meter... will see how that goes

+1, I'd love to see the old stuff.... I rue the day I left all my negatives from the '70s in a college darkroom... next semester the darkroom was no more and all my film gone!

Been a while since I posted but I am always checking this thread which is fast becoming one of my favorites of the entire forum. Real good stuff!

A couple from a recent scanning marathon. Taken with a Minolta X-700 and Tri-X.

Passage for Reedies

Chamonix 045N-2, Caltar II-N 150/5.6, Arista EDU Ultra 100 @ EI 160, Edwal FG-7 1:15 12'

This path bridges a pond/swamp and connects the residence halls with the academic buildings at Reed College in Portland. The intent was to do some architectural photography with a group from Portland Photographers' Forum. Campus security had other ideas; however, with the result that we took photos of plants, swamp, squirrels and paths rather than buildings.
