Yes I am very much looking forward to giving some of my favorite lenses a shot on film. Particularly the F 135mm, M 85mm, and the K 50mm F/1.2
What type of film do you guys buy, and why? Also, where do you get the film? Im lost
For some colour film suggestions, check out this recent thread:

I tend to buy single rolls of film locally, usually just to try things out. Then when I find what I like, I buy in larger numbers from the US, where film is 1/2 to 1/3 the price of Aussie stores. Check out Freestyle in LA for good prices and awesome range:

My favourite colour film (so far...) is Kodak Ektar 100, as seen in this thread.
Fuji Reala 100 is also very nice.
For something a bit faster in colour I like Fuji Superia 400.
You can also get some decent B&W films that are developed in colour chemicals (C-41 process), which means that anywhere that can do colour can develop it for you. I have used Kodak BW400CN which fits into this category.
For traditional black and white, I would recommend trying these favourites:
Kodak Tri-X 400, Fuji Acros 100, Fuji Neopan 400, Ilford FP4+ 125
And of course there is a whole world of film to try other than what I have listed here. Not to mention slide film, which I haven't got to trying yet! Have fun...
