Glad to see that the Hung Far Low shot made it here to Pentax Forums. I intended to add it to my Sightseer set this last summer, but it slipped my mind when I was actually in Chinatown. In fact, I took a photo (the unicycle) when standing directly under the sign!

(Memo to self...got to get down and get a photo of this for my "Is Portland Weird?" set...at least I will after I spend some time with the Portland "Tree of Shame"...)

Love those shots, easytiger!

Also digging the nuns on mopeds.

Here are a few snaps of the old University of Iowa Art Building, damaged in the 2008 floods and sitting idle since then. MX and Ektar 100. Zeiss 35 f/2.

Thank You Jussi!! The thing I like the most of the Yahsica is the quite shutter, the first few times using it I was not even sure if I have already taken the picture or not!

I think the sign were temporary removed last summer for restoration and finished in Sept. So you might not have seen it when you were there. I'll look forward to your photo of the sign soon.
Although the original restaurant has been moved, but the new one by Andy Ricker should be pretty good.

David

The lack of grain in this film still surprises me; properly exposed scans almost look like files from a digital camera.

Finally shooting some home developed 35mm again, and tried out some Foma 200 that I have had sitting around for 6 months or more.
Looks like a fairly nice film. I see what people mean about the thin emulsion though! My development was a bit uneven on some frames, but not too bad.

I took a bit of a guess as to how to develop it... Went for 6min in Tmax at 21C, agitating for 10s every minute. In case Luc is watching, I got the temp down to 21C by refridgeration, finally!

Really like that shot. You also reminded me that I've got 20 rolls of Rollei Retro 100 in my freezer
