Some shots I took between August and December. Any feedback is appreciated! I'm still getting to grips with film. There are all K1000/Ilford HP5/50mm
I really like the top left shot as well.

Thank Javier! Yea, I think their scan is better than Costco but the resolution is very very low 1552x1024!

The Costco pixel count is high from their Noritsu machines, but the quality is fairly low with lots of artifact. I also tried Target and like David, found the quality to be better, but the base resolution to be much lower. Hi-res garbage vs. lo-res quality...what to do, what to do? (I bought a 5000 ED )

You nailed it Steve. Target has excellent quality but small pixel count. Still for web use they are pretty good. When I see or have something special, I will rescan it myself. I don;t have a fancy scanner, but I do have a decent scanner with great software.

Costco is 3088x1643. Maybe I should get a scanner like the Epson v500 that is more affordable but still better than Costco and Target.

Thanks - that Minolta 35-70 3.5 is one super lens, and usually available cheap for such quality. Leica sold the same lens for their SLRs. It was worth my getting another Minolta or two

The Minoltas are nicely made cameras, with slightly different preferences and design ideas than Pentax. Over all, however, a good Pentax is a good Pentax

Jussi, those tulips are really special and the color is doing wild things to the rods and cones in my eyes after all the B&W <g>. You may make me rethink how I feel about my Minolta XG-1n (but mine needs a better lens than its current FD50 f2). Currently have a roll of Velvia 50 in my ZX-5n, but the weather isn't cooperating :-( I know what I want to shoot with it - I'm just waiting for the light.

Best,
Kevin
