Hmmmm, i have no idea why, it mounts fine to both of my bodies, K110 and K10, no problems at all. I wonder if yours has the extra long flange on it like some of the Vivitars? Some of those have an extended flange where the aperture coupler is..

I know there are several posts here about either using a dremel to trim it down, or removing the flange completely. Hinman wrote one of the posts I think...But. before doing anything that drastic, I would make sure that is the problem, lol

Which Tokina 28 do you have Javier? I have the RMC Tokina 28 f2.8 it's a nice lens... This one, haha

My first reaction was "cool, that's the same lens I have" (in OM mount, burn the witch and so forth...)

...but it's not! Note the °49 filter size. Good lens, either way! I wonder how many variations of Tokina 28's there are, probably a lot...

Thanks for the comments agnostic!

Mike, that image is superb..

Tokina Update:...I am pretty sure I have the not so good version, but I am happy with it. ''though'' I am now pondering getting another one. The rmc version.

Not a bad line, that, I think. I haven't used the 28, extensively, but my general impression of that line is that they won't blow you away on any particular count, but they give very pleasant monochrome.

Javier, if the results satisfy, why go sideways? Anyway, here's a link to some film pics I posted, taken with an UNCOATED as in NO COATING AT ALL, NOT A SINGLE COAT, not even a jacket, Skopar from '38:

These are not film shots, but here are a couple shots I took with my Tokina 28 mounted on my K110D. Only PP done was cropping and resizing.

I asked the guy if it was, and he laughed. It is a replica, but a VERY good replica. It has the 427 engine, and it sounded mean !!! I think if you were to find the real deal in this condition, you would probably pay over $500,000 for it.

Warning: More flowers...

Here are a few contributions from my latest roll of Ektar 100.

A day at the Oregon Gardens...

Intentionally soft...taken with the Jupiter-9 wide open hand-held)

Intentionally sharper! Tamron Adaptal-2 28/2.5 (02B)

The Tamron 28/2.5 again

Mr. and Mrs. Potts...the closest I get to street photography. Tamron 28/2.5

Sudden violent storm...almost 2" of rain in less than 15 minutes...

I am not sure, but I think the "flare" in the corner of the Potts picture is an artifact from Target's scanner. It does not appear to be on the negative.

Steve
