This little guy was moving in low light, but I still love this shot.

Thanks, she is. She was gorgeous a few (~70) years ago as well.

Thanks David. The K1000SE really is a joy to use and the viewfinder with the split prism is wonderful. I wish my K2 had the same focus screen.

Thanks Paul.
The K2DMD only came with the split focus screen and has the “Judas window” missing in the K2. It also has extra features like a second "Auto" shutter speed that activates an eye piece blind, as well as an exposure compensating warning which changes the aperture reading to orange. Well worth the extra cost compared to a K2.

An idea they carried over from the ESII. Very handy for tripod work. Only problem is, K2DMDs don't come up very often. One day one will come up when I have some cash available! Meanwhile, I have one or two other film bodies to use.

Best wishes, Kris.

If it weren't so expensive, I could easily get addicted to Delta 3200 on MF. The lighting indoors is so natural. I liked the sharpened version I posted with more grain, detail and expression, but right out of the scanner, the grain was hardly noticeable.

That was a lovely portrait Gene, you captured a nice moment.

I found I had some old Superia left in my film camera this week. Captured with my P30n and 135mm f3.5 this afternoon...

So grainy I converted to B&W

Finished off a roll of Fuji Superia 200 I started two summers ago with the Super Program. These were scanned at Walgreens and then edited in LR3:

@Deadwolfbones - looks like it was worth the 2 year wait. Color looks great. Nice to see you here in "Show us your film shots".

@Gene - great shot of your mom. All you medium format guys are really fueling my CBA, The only thing saving me is that the wallet is currently a little thin <g>.

@wuzet, I've got a thing for plumbing, too.

Cedar Hill Cemetery, last October. SuperProgram, M50 f2, Ektar

@Moe49 - thanks for the camping shots. Resize for the web is always a drag. They may not look as good as the originals to your eye (and they may not), but it's a treat to see them just the same. Even the snow. May here in CT was ugly; either cold and rainy or blazing hot. First couple days of June has been what May usually is - 70 degrees and dry. If only it would stay this way...

Best to all,
Kevin

First foray into film: went through europe for 4 weeks after undergrad, had no money for a dSLR so my friend lent me her P30T. Pics here are taken with a Pentax A 28-80mm F3.5-4.5, likely Superia 200 film.

Here are a couple of shots I liked:

I eventually had to return the camera to my friend. This made me sad.
Recently, however, I was able to get my hands on a K1000, and ever since I've acquired 2 primes (50/1.7, 28/3.5 SMC M) and 1 zoom (80-200/4.5, SMC M)and am super ultra mega 100% excited to try it out
