Pentax MZ-S + SMC-M 50/1.4, Neopan400@3200 in Rodinal 1+25, Canon 8400F scan
Wonderful series of shots. Most people would probably say that Rodinal works best with low speed film but you have made it work really well @ 3200.

Agree, those look great! Do you mind sharing your protocol/dev time with these? I've got lots of this film, and lots of Rodinal, LOL.

thank you, I must admit I was very surprised by the results with Neopan as I'm used to do concerts with Ilford stuff only. regarding Rodinal, last year I was out of Microphen for pushing, so I stumbled across some recepies for pushing the material in Rodinal, and never looked back since.

no problem, Todd: 1+25 for 27 min@20°C, agitation whole first minute, after that 5 inversions every minute (I did that till 17 minutes into developing, from there agitation was every other minute).

It was a very still spring afternoon.

The last image is tilted to suggest something of the way this couple was doing not-so-slow dancing/twirling to the sound of the ambient spring air.

Technically, these shots are interesting because my batteries went dead and the exposure was eyeballed. MX, 40mm pancake, Fuji 400, 20% reduction from the negative scan.

Colton, Asaru: both sets show the sharpness possible with 35mm. The 43 really works well with film, and the pancake isn't shabby either

Here's from an experiment a couple of years ago - I was trying out a reversed SMC Tak 28/3.5 on a ES-II loaded with Tri-X. Not the optimal bug macro combo

Finally have something current to throw into the ring...if you consider May 8 current <g>.

ZX-5n, FA50 f1.4, Velvia 50 (Scanned this one myself, the rest are lab scans)

The rest of these are the same gear and shot in my old stomping grounds of Cedar Hill Cemetery

Tall column at the top of the hill is the final resting place of Samuel Colt

Celtic cross below marks his son's (Caldwell Hart Colt) resting place

I'm a little obsessed with this contorted Japanese maple. I've shot it a lot and still haven't nailed the shot (but that doesn't stop me from trying <g>).

Best to all,
Kevin
