Well, last week I got my hands on my father in laws Hasselblad 500 c/m

Shot a roll of film with it and had a blast. This camera is next on my shopping list.

Now its back to 35mm Arista Premium developed in Ilfosol S

I took this 3 years ago, but decided to try post processing the scan... presumably knowing better this time Yashica Mat 124G, expired Fuji 160S. I note I missed focus, it is a bit farther back than it ought to be...

I love that first B&W one with the wrapped crates. Nicely done.

Just wanted to say...

...If anything could make me take up film in a serious way, it would be this thread.

Some very nice shots, an elegant, refined look, great DOF control. I get the sense that the good compositions are the result of skill and experience, vs. iterative methods. And the grain looks so superior to 'noise', it's not in the same ballpark.

Big thanks to the contributors in this thread, inspirational always.

Steve
This is one of the best threads at Pentax forums, I think, and I love to see the photos and the knowledge - and support! Seriously, Jay, thank you for the compliment and kudos to all here.

About time, then, I say... results look good for such an expired film. I think the consumer films take aging better than most pro films - these latter tend to become wierdly color shifted in the direction they already tend (i.e. Fuji 400H becomes greener than ever)...

Thanks Jay, I'm sure many of us look forward to seeing your digital shots (for me anyway)! You are a master at work.

The DA 15 isn't the only Pentax lens that can create a starburst!

typical cloudless day in Phoenix. -IQZoom 105WR. At one time the building was known as the Dial Corp. building. Not sure if it retains the name.

That's a very strong triple, they suggest a story as there are connections between the images... excellent work, thanks for posting!
