and while we're at the mutual admiration society meeting, that Acros set you just posted wasn't too shabby either, Jason. Nice to see you still shoot 35mm from time to time <g>.

All the best,
Kevin

Thanks Kevin. I have got back into shooting 35mm actually, after finding some developer and film combos that I like. Also shooting with the big 67 in 120, depending on my mood and the subject I suppose.
I enjoyed that last set you posted, especially the flower shots. Nice color.
cheers

I too am wanting to get back to the 35mm work. I got a box of house brand Ferrania from "Four Corner Store" and was thinking that it might be time to take the FED-2 for a spin.

Nice. After first getting in to 120 I went through a phase where I thought 35mm just didn't 'cut the mustard' in comparison. Hence I didn't shoot it much for a while. But as my experience increased with development I came to the realisation that when I do my job properly with taking the photo and get the development right, the results can be very nice. And the much smaller camera and faster lenses is nice too

p.s. I seem to have found some Ferrania at an Aussie online seller so I'll try that out soonish.

Thanks Guys. I appreciate the kind words. In another week I will be retired and hopefully have more time for shooting

I've been away for awhile now so I just spent some time going back through the last ten pages or so of this thread to try and catch up. Some great stuff being posted by everyone. ALS has made it quite hard for me to get out and shoot lately and typing has become quite tough as well, so I may no have much to post in the future and can't do a whole lot to keep active on this forum and thread as far as comments and replies go but I do hope to keep somewhat active with photography and the forum.

Here are a few from a roll of Arista Ultra EDU 100 I shot with my K1000SE,

First Roll From the ME Super

White Ibis are my best models, they are good natured and plentiful.
I can already tell I'm going to love this little camera.
I used the 80-200 f4.5 for this.

I have just had my first roll back from my Soviet "Horizont" panoramic camera from 1972. Here are a couple of examples, the rest are on Flickr. Unfortunately, the camera has a light leak...

Best wishes, Kris.
